Jeremy Justeson performs a diverse repertoire in a variety of settings. Works by David Amram, Richard Rodney Bennet, Paul Creston, Claude Debussy, Alexander Glazounov, Karel Husa, Jacques Ibert, Paule Maurice, Darius Milhaud, Gunther Schuller, Michael Torke, Heitor Villa Lobos, and P. Kellach Waddle have become standards for performance with orchestra.
As a soloist with bands Dr. Justeson is available to perform works by Garland Anderson, William Bolcom, Frank Bencriscutto, Warren Benson, Michael Colgrass, Paul Creston, Ingolf Dahl, Elliot Del Borgo, Morton Gould, Clare Grundman, Bernard Heiden, Karel Husa, Gordon Jacob, Robert Jaeger, William Latham, Robert Linn, David Maslanka, Sammy Nestico, Lennie Niehaus, Alfred Reed, Gunther Schuller, Mark Watters, Dana Wilson, and others.
As recital soloist Jeremy Justeson blends the standard literature with famous transcriptions, popular songs, and new cutting edge original works in an informal conversational setting that delights audiences.
Dr. Justeson actively advances the music of both established and up-and-coming composers. He can be heard performing new music in both academic and alternative art venues with the CASE Ensembles. The CASE Ensembles include the CASE Contemporary Ensemble, CASE Saxophone Quartet, and CASE DUO, of which Jeremy Justeson is a founding member.
