Dr. Justeson currently serves as Assistant Professor of Music, Director of the Single Reed Studio, and Assistant Director of Bands at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Justeson encourages all of his students to study the various woodwind instruments and to develop a strong pedagogical knowledge and applied skill in both the classical and jazz idioms. The goal of private instruction is to develop the highest level of performance, musicianship, and pedagogical concepts that will help each student achieve excellence in their chosen careers. In addition to his university teaching schedule, Dr. Justeson maintains a select studio of talented high school musicians. Inquiries on the availability of private instruction are welcomed.

Dr. Justeson held a prior appointment at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and taught in award-winning instrumental music programs for several years in the Texas public school system. Dr. Justeson has studied with renowned conductors including John P. Paynter, Dr. Mitch Fennell, and Jerry Junkin.
